Moriah Harbour Cay National Park Tour & Lazy River

This is a relaxed, guided 2-hour hydrobike tour designed to be fun, easygoing, and unforgettable. We move at a comfortable pace as we glide through calm, shallow waters and winding red mangroves, taking in some of the most beautiful scenery Exuma has to offer. Along the way, we’ll HOPE to spot turtles, colorful fish, and other marine life that call the mangroves home.

Our trained and personable guide shares stories and insights about the ecosystem as you ride. Nothing rushed, nothing stressful, just a really enjoyable time on the water. The tour rests at a stunning beach where the natural “lazy river” gently carries you along with the tide. It is peaceful, refreshing, and often the moment guests say is their favorite part of the entire experience. The hydrobikes are smooth and stable, and while there is light pedaling involved, most guests find it surprisingly easy and very comfortable. You’re moving just enough to feel good — without it ever feeling like a workout.

On tour, we provide unlimited ice-cold water and a light snack to keep you refreshed.

FAQs

What is a Water Bike?

The Water bike is the ultimate in human powered watercraft. With little effort you can cruise at 2-4 miles per hour. They can easily be ridden in even the windiest and waviest conditions. They are virtually impossible to tip over and they are GREAT fun for all ages!

How much weight can it hold?

Up to 300 lbs.

Is it beginner friendly?

Absolutely. No experience is required. We provide a full briefing and stay with you throughout the tour to make sure you’re comfortable and confident.

Is it Safe?

Yes. Safety is our ABSOLUTE priority. The hydrobikes are very stable and our tours take place in calm waters, and our guide is always with you. Life vests are provided IF requested, although we’re mostly in shallow water.

Can children ride?

Most children ages 8 and up are able to ride themselves. Although we do advise kids 10+ for the tours because of the distance covered! Adult supervision is required! The console is not to be used as a seat. Also, only under certain circumstances do we allow second riders on a single bike.

What should I bring?

  • Sunblock!

  • Hat

  • Phone or Action Camera

  • Towels

Do I need to be fit or athletic?

No. Believe it or not, the experience is about fun and exploration, not fitness. The movement is light and natural, just enough to feel good without feeling like a workout.

Will I get tired?

Most guests describe it as relaxing and refreshing, not tiring. The pace is easy, and we take breaks so you can enjoy the views, take photos, and soak it all in. IF the conditions or tides are going to be greater than normal, we reach out in advance to advise as such.

What kind of clothing should I wear?

You’d want to wear shorts or something to keep you comfortable as the seat may be a bit uncomfortable if sat on with only a bikini bottom. But most beach clothing is good. You won’t get wet until you’re jumping into the water!

How fast can I go?

Average speed is 2 mph, it can go up to 5 mph.

Is the tour hard?

Not at all. Most guests say it’s much easier than they expected. You’ll be too busy enjoying the water and scenery to think about the effort.
